As of March 31, 2008, a total of 331 project proposals have been submitted to the ERF since August 2007. Nine project proposals have been submitted by international NGOs and twenty-two by Iraqi NGOs. UNDP continued the construction/ rehabilitation projects of major hospitals in Iraq. Through these projects UNDP provides equipment and strengthens the service delivery through capacity building programs and community awareness activities.
